30 years ago today, the Oxford, U.K. band, RIDE, released their debut self-titled EP on Creation Records. Thanks to the amazing Gina Harp(RIP), the band themselves, and Dave Newton their original manager, I've been lucky enough to work with them over the years. An early RIDE show from 1991 in London at the old Town & Country Club, which became the O2 Forum Kentish Town, that had been filmed on 16mm and Super 8 and had sat in film cans for almost 25 years, was finally unearthed In 2015! I was thrilled to get the job restoring it and turning it into a concert film which appears as a DVD on the 25th Anniversary Box Set of RIDE's first album, Nowhere.
