Not sure what year I got this shirt, but it was in my early days in DC. I moved here Sept. 9th, 2001...who knew? What I do remember is that Jake and Kim's band, Screen Vinyl Image were the first local band I befriended and really connected with and loved out here. Not only did they make incredible music, but they were so welcoming and sweet, introducing me to other cool peeps, and making me feel part of the scene. They appeared on the one year anniversary of Uncle Matt's Two-Hour Shower! Back to the t-shirt. Even before hearing SVI, I knew they were going to be ultra cool, having an image of Debbie Harry from the classic Cronenberg film, Videodrome, on their shirt. I was not disappointed!
